If you’re reading this little article then you’re likely a gym rat - just like me!

So I thought I’d talk a little about all of the items I feel are essential to carry in your gym bag so that you get the most out of every training session!

  1. Wrist Straps
  2. Knee Wraps
  3. Lifting Belt
  4. Small container of lifting chalk (make sure your gym allows this item)
  5. A pre-mixed post work drink.
  6. Another small container of your favorite BCAA mixture. I sip on this all throughout my workout.

There have been times when I have to do some errands after my workout, and it’s very important to get in a post work meal within the 30 minute time frame after hitting the weights. This is your “anabolic window”.

My favorite post work out drink consists of EFX’s IGF-33, NF-Pro, and their new product, Karbolyn. I prefer the Strawberry Strike flavor personally.
