Anthony Cosentino :: All American EFX Board Rep

Earlier in 2011, All American EFX Board Rep, Anthony “COZ” Cosentino, competed for and won his natural bodybuilding pro card. The only products he used to prepare were from the All American EFX line, a company he has been proudly representing for well over a year now! Anthony truly has a fantastic physique and a bright future in the sport. I sat down with him to find out how he feels about earning pro status, how he got there and what is up next on his bodybuilding “bucket-list!”

E: So, I understand you are a new drug free pro! How does that feel and what show was it at?

Coz: It’s like a dream come true. The day I started bodybuilding, Jan 5th 2006, I wanted to reach the pinnacle of the sport. I won my PNBA pro card at the 2011 Border States Classic, but I'm not stopping there. I plan on winning my pro card in the NGA, WNBF, and IFPA... the big 4 organizations. From there I can pick and choose the shows I want to compete in as a pro!

E: What kind of basic diet and supplement protocol did you follow?

Coz: I took a new approach this year with dieting. I started 30+ weeks out and dieted super slow. I planned on losing 1-1.5 lbs a week without suffering. I did not eat the so called "bodybuilder" foods like tuna and broccoli. I branched out with things like Greek yogurt, healthy frozen pizzas, and homemade lean tacos. As for supplements, I stuck with my trusty All American EFX line-up of Kre-Alkalyn, Lean Fix, and K-OTIC. I also added a few new ones like Test Charge and V3. The EFX V3 was a great option and really helped with pumps in the gym. I got the idea from a one, Eric Broser!

E: Eric who? LOL! What is your training like?

Coz: My training is very instinctual. I do the typical one body part a day split but sometimes, depending on my mood or energy levels, I will add or take away exercises and body parts or completely rearrange my split for the week.

E: How much cardio did you do for the show?

Coz: I started off my diet doing absolutely no cardio until my weight loss slowed to 1 lb a week. From there I added cardio into my program five days a week. Towards the end of my prep I was doing double cardio sessions 7-days-a- week for a total of an hour

E: What is up next for you as far as competitions and otherwise?

Coz: Well I was contemplating trying my hand at the 2011 Natural Olympia, but my schedule did not allow me to do it! I am, however, in the process of getting my ISSA personal trainer and nutrition certification. I would like to start helping people prep for contests and incorporate my non orthodox methods to help them reach their goals just as I did.

E: What are your future goals in bodybuilding and the fitness industry?

Coz: Well I already have a great company (EFX) behind me, hooking me up with supplements and I won my pro card. I guess all I have left to do is the take the world by storm! I also would like to get myself in to an advertisement or two! That would be really cool!

E: I can definitely see that happening Coz! Anything else you want to add?

Coz: I just want to say thanks for this opportunity!

E: No, thank YOU for being such a wonderful representative for EFX and natural bodybuilding!
